Vietnam and Shakuhachi
The Seikado shakuhachi auction for Sarah has ended. The flute is going to a Vietnamese person in Vietnam. For me, the symbolism of this is monumental… and inspiring. The Vietnam war has been a scar on the American psyche for so long. So much of it is still misunderstood. But the Vietnamese national who purchased this flute to help an American have a kidney operation speaks beyond political and geological borders. Let’s hope this new global culture can continue to move forward with positive energy to help and heal, instead of languishing on unsettled ghosts of the past. Thank you all for your kind support.
Namaste.
